SCUBA diving in Germany?
Does anyone know of opportunities for SCUBA diving in Germany? I currrently live in the Mannheim / Heidelberg area and would love to explore in-land lake diving or mountain lakes in the Bavaria region of Germany. Switzerland and Austria might also be an interesting place to dive. Yes, I’m aware that this is lake diving, but this can be interesting as well.
Google for “Hemmoor” or “Kreidensee”, good place to spend a weekend diving. On the down side, long drive from where you are living.
“messinghausen berg im see” is also an option. Good for a dive or two.
